Hats

The girls love hats. And, that's not because they find them fashionable or think themselves beautiful wearing them.

If the hats are large enough, they like them because they believe they are invisible while wearing them. If otherwise, they adopt caricature personalities wearing them and use them as an excuse to be goofy.

Yesterday, the girls happened upon a couple of papa's hats.

O-H-I-O

Papa bought us all t-shirts so we could represent for his team this season!

Papa & Elli

Three-peat

I decided that I wanted pigtails, too, so I ran in to change my coiffure. The girls were very amused that I was mimicking them for once, instead of the other way around.

"Do Mama's wear pigtails?"

Elli gets really into the games. She laughs hysterically at the violence of a pile up. (Anni usually follows suit, because when one girl laughs, the other does, too.)

Elli checks the score.

Anni gets really into the commercials. She likes to dance to their music. (Elli usually follows suit, because when one girl dances, the other must, too.)

The Pitbull Dr. Pepper commercial is a favorite.

We tried, in vain, to teach girls to say "O-H-I-O" with the corresponding hand/arm movements. They can, however, point to each letter and say it.
